when i was almost done stripping the paint. it was hard work because the paint was thick, but it had a tendency to peel off so I didn't dare to leave it and just paint over itall paint gone! i actually considered leaving sections untreated because I really liked the color of the wood, but settled on painting it all because it's easier to clean

the net in the doors are made from the same material as the hay manger: wire baskets! all sharp edges that came from the cutting have been sanded down carefully.
